Learn Taxidermy
Mid-State Taxidermy offers flexible weekend/weekday workshops for the beginner taxidermist. If you have watched videos on taxidermy instruction then you know how many questions you are left with. Mid-State Taxidermy workshops are designed to answer those questions and much more.
You will work side by side with an experienced professional taxidermist. Unlike an instructional DVD the student will be able to ask questions and explore ideas. Working in this environment facilitates a full understanding of the steps involved and how each step, beginning to end, culminates in the completed piece. All of the necessary tools and supplies will be at the ready as well.
Available workshops include; shoulder mounts, small mammal life size, birds and habitat construction. Each workshop can be organized around the students schedule and needs.
